In a growing world of technology, digital citizenship was created to describe the norms or appropriate and responsible behaviors with regards to digital use. It gives everyone the opportunity to connect through technology without the issues of abuse and misuse. Good digital citizenship works to provide a safe, and respectful digital society.
There are seven elements of Digital Citizenship: 1) Digital Access; 2) Digital Commerce; 3) Digital Communication;
4) Digital Literacy; 5) Digital Etiquette; 6) Digital Law; 7) Digital Rights and Responsibilities; 8) Digital Health and Wellness; and 9) Digital Security ( Self-Protection).
